পানিসম্পদ প্রতিমন্ত্রী ও বরিশাল সদর আসনের এমপি কর্নেল (অব.) জাহিদ ফারুকের পক্ষে নগরীর ৫০০ অসহায়-দুস্থদের মাঝে ইফতার বিতরণ করা হয়েছে।
সোমবার বিকেল সাড়ে ৫টায় নগরীর বান্দ রোডের শের-ই বাংলা মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালের সামনে দিনমজুর, শ্রমিক ও রিকশাচালকসহ বিভিন্ন পেশার ব্যক্তির মাঝে এই ইফতার সামগ্রী বিতরণ করা হয়।
এসময় মহানগর ছাত্রলীগ নেতা মাহিদুর রহমান মাহাদ এবং জেলা ছাত্রলীগের সিনিয়র সহ-সভাপতি জোবায়ের আবদুল্লাহ জিন্নাহসহ অন্যান্যরা উপস্থিত ছিলেন।
